Anti-dumping duty

Notification No. 04/2025-Customs (ADD), Dated 18-03-2025

The Government has imposed an anti-dumping duty on Soft Ferrite Cores (tariff item 8505 11 10) imported from China PR and imported into India in order to remove injury to the domestic industry. Below-mentioned are the Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR)’s findings that:

  1. Subject goods are exported to India from the subject country at dumped prices,
  2. Causing material injury to the domestic industry on account of subject import from subject country, and
  3. The material injury has been caused by the dumped imports from the subject country at dumped prices.

The above anti-dumping duty imposed shall be levied for a period of 5 years from the date of publication of this notification and shall be payable in Indian currency.

Further, the exchange rate for the calculation of duty shall be as per Section 14 of the Customs Act, 1962, based on the date of bill of entry presentation under Section 46 of the said Act.
