LCS Darranga

Notification No. 03 /2025-26, Dated 02-04-2025

The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), under the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992, has amended the General Notes of Import Policy (ITC-HS, 2022) to include Land Custom Station (LCS) Darranga in List “A” of Appendix-V as an authorized food import entry point. This revision increases the total number of food import entry points to 162, including 33 LCSs, in alignment with the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) Notification No. 1-1715/FSSAI/Imports/2017/(Part-I) dated 03-09-2024 and other relevant FSSAI notifications.

With this inclusion, food imports under 1579 HS Codes must comply with designated entry restrictions. LCS Darranga, located in Assam with Port Code INDRGB, has been designated as an authorized food import entry point, with compliance oversight by the Superintendent, Appraiser, Inspector, and Examiner.
