Notification No. 66/2025-26, Dated 23-03-2026
The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has issued a notification restoring the Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products (RoDTEP) rates and value caps for all eligible export products.
1. Restoration of Earlier Rates
The notification provides that:
- RoDTEP rates and value caps as specified in Appendix 4R and Appendix 4RE, as applicable on 22 February 2026, are fully restored
- This restoration applies for the period 23 February 2026 to 31 March 2026
2. Withdrawal of Earlier 50% Restriction
With this restoration:
- The earlier restriction limiting RoDTEP benefits to 50% of notified rates and value caps (introduced via Notification No. 60/2025–26 dated 23-02-2026) stands discontinued
- Exporters will now receive benefits at the full notified rates and caps
3. Supersession of Earlier Notification
The notification further states that it:
- Supersedes Notification No. 60/2025–26 dated 23-02-2026 and
- The Corrigendum dated 24-02-2026
However, actions already taken or omitted under the earlier notification will remain unaffected.
4. Implications for Exporters
- Exporters are eligible to claim full RoDTEP benefits (as on 22-02-2026 rates) for the specified period
- This results in enhanced remission benefits compared to the earlier restricted regime
- Improves export competitiveness and cost recovery
5. Objective of the Notification
The restoration aims to:
- Provide relief to exporters impacted by reduced benefits
- Enhance export incentives and liquidity support
- Strengthen India’s export competitiveness in global markets
Overall, the move reverses the temporary reduction and reinstates the original RoDTEP benefit structure for the specified period.
