AYUSHEXCIL Certificate of Origin

FTP Public Notice 08/2025-26, Dated 30-05-2025

The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has issued a Public Notice to officially enlist the Ayush Export Promotion Council (AYUSHEXCIL) under Appendix 2E of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2023.

1. Authorisation to Issue Certificates of Origin (Non-Preferential)

With this inclusion, AYUSHEXCIL is now authorised to issue Certificates of Origin (Non-Preferential). These certificates are essential for exporters to authenticate the origin of goods, particularly in cases where preferential tariff benefits are not being claimed by the importer.

2. Effective Date of Implementation

This recognition comes into effect immediately from 30 May 2025, enabling AYUSHEXCIL to begin issuing certificates without any delay.

3. Significance for the AYUSH Export Sector

This move is expected to streamline export facilitation for stakeholders in the AYUSH sector, including those dealing with Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy products. It reflects the Government’s continued push towards promoting India’s traditional wellness systems in global markets.
