Notification No. 16\/2025-26<\/a>, Dated 31-05-2025<\/em><\/p>\n

1. Extension of Import Policy for Yellow Peas<\/h2>\n

The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT)<\/strong> has issued a notification to extend the current import policy condition applicable to Yellow Peas<\/strong>, classified under ITC (HS) Code 07131010<\/strong> of Chapter 07<\/strong> of the ITC (HS) 2022, Schedule I (Import Policy)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

2. Revised Validity Period<\/h2>\n

Earlier, the import policy was valid until 31st May 2025<\/strong>. As per the new notification, the validity has been extended up to 31st March 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

3. Import Policy Status Remains Unchanged<\/h2>\n

Under the extended period:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • The import of Yellow Peas<\/strong> shall continue to be classified as \u2018Free\u2019<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  • There will be no Minimum Import Price (MIP)<\/strong> condition.<\/li>\n
  • There will be no Port Restriction<\/strong> applicable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    4. Mandatory Import Monitoring System (IMS) Registration<\/h2>\n

    Despite the relaxation in import conditions:<\/p>\n

    • \n

      Importers are required to mandatorily register<\/strong> their consignments under the Online Import Monitoring System (IMS)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      5. Effective Date and Transitional Applicability<\/h2>\n

      This notification shall be effective immediately<\/strong> and is applicable to:<\/p>\n

      • All consignments<\/strong> of Yellow Peas<\/li>\n
