The export window for this allocation will run from <strong data-start=\"539\" data-end=\"573\">October 2025 to September 2026<\/strong>, as part of India\u2019s preferential trade commitments under the TRQ mechanism with the EU.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"668\" data-end=\"723\"><strong data-start=\"672\" data-end=\"723\">Export Classification and Compliance Conditions<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"725\" data-end=\"1149\">This sugar export quota is classified as <strong data-start=\"766\" data-end=\"776\">\u2018Free\u2019<\/strong>, indicating that no individual export license is required from the DGFT. However, such exports must strictly comply with the terms and conditions specified in <strong data-start=\"936\" data-end=\"967\">Notification No. 03\/2015-20<\/strong>, dated <strong data-start=\"975\" data-end=\"994\">20th April 2015<\/strong>. This includes documentation requirements, product standards, and registration procedures, ensuring only eligible exporters benefit from the quota system.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1156\" data-end=\"1197\"><strong data-start=\"1160\" data-end=\"1197\">Issuance of Certificate of Origin<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1199\" data-end=\"1630\">To avail preferential tariff benefits under the EU TRQ scheme, exporters must obtain a <strong data-start=\"1286\" data-end=\"1317\">Certificate of Origin (CoO)<\/strong>. This CoO will be issued by the <strong data-start=\"1350\" data-end=\"1407\">Additional Director General of Foreign Trade (Mumbai)<\/strong>. The issuance will be based on recommendations provided by the <strong data-start=\"1471\" data-end=\"1552\">Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA)<\/strong>, which will vet applicants to confirm their eligibility under the TRQ regime.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1637\" data-end=\"1675\"><strong data-start=\"1641\" data-end=\"1675\">Role of APEDA in TRQ Operation<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1677\" data-end=\"2128\">The management and implementation of the TRQ quota have been entrusted to <strong data-start=\"1751\" data-end=\"1760\">APEDA<\/strong>, headquartered in <strong data-start=\"1779\" data-end=\"1792\">New Delhi<\/strong>. APEDA will be responsible for coordinating with sugar exporters, verifying applications, processing CoO recommendations, and ensuring that the allocated quantity is effectively utilized within the stipulated timeline. This institutional framework is designed to ensure transparency and compliance with international trade obligations.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"2135\" data-end=\"2178\"><strong data-start=\"2139\" data-end=\"2178\">Significance for the Sugar Industry<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2180\" data-end=\"2523\">This allocation opens a strategic export opportunity for India\u2019s sugar industry by offering market access to the high-value European market under preferential tariff conditions.
