Scope and Exclusions of the Duty Imposition<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"861\" data-end=\"1475\">The anti-dumping duty applies specifically to black toner in powder form and does <strong data-start=\"943\" data-end=\"950\">not<\/strong> cover other toner variants. The notification explicitly excludes <strong data-start=\"1016\" data-end=\"1089\">color toner, MICR toner, toner in cartridges, toner meant for OEM use<\/strong>, and <strong data-start=\"1095\" data-end=\"1119\">toner in liquid form<\/strong> from its scope. The duty rates vary depending on the manufacturer, country of origin, and specific exporter, ensuring a targeted application designed to prevent circumvention and ensure fairness in the domestic market. This time-bound application aligns with global trade practices and ensures periodic review of its necessity and effectiveness. Payment Mechanism and Exchange Rate Application<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2093\" data-end=\"2597\">The notification clarifies that the <strong data-start=\"2129\" data-end=\"2180\">anti-dumping duty is payable in Indian currency<\/strong>, with the applicable amount calculated based on the <strong data-start=\"2233\" data-end=\"2301\">exchange rate notified under Section 14 of the Customs Act, 1962<\/strong>. The relevant exchange rate will be that which is in force on the <strong data-start=\"2368\" data-end=\"2413\">date of presentation of the bill of entry<\/strong> under Section 46 of the Customs Act.
