Introduction of New Policy Condition<\/h2>\n<p>A new Policy Condition 2 has been added under Chapter 23 of Schedule-II (Export Policy), ITC(HS) 2022. This condition makes it mandatory that the specified animal by-products, when used as raw materials for the manufacture of pet food (not meant for human consumption), must be sourced from APEDA-registered integrated abattoirs or municipal slaughterhouses.
