Export Now Restricted to Authorisation Requirement<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"522\" data-end=\"564\">The amendment <strong data-start=\"536\" data-end=\"560\">restricts the export<\/strong> of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"568\" data-end=\"609\">Red Sanders wood <strong data-start=\"587\" data-end=\"602\">in log form<\/strong>, and<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"612\" data-end=\"676\"><strong data-start=\"614\" data-end=\"645\">Roots of cultivation origin<\/strong> obtained from <strong data-start=\"660\" data-end=\"676\">private land<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"678\" data-end=\"800\">Exports of these items are now permitted <strong data-start=\"719\" data-end=\"767\">only under a Restricted Export Authorisation<\/strong>, instead of free or open export.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"807\" data-end=\"855\">2. Mandatory Documentation and Verification<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"857\" data-end=\"908\">Applications for Export Authorisation must include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"912\" data-end=\"986\">Certificate from the <strong data-start=\"935\" data-end=\"984\">Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li data-start=\"989\" data-end=\"1035\">Confirmation of <strong data-start=\"1007\" data-end=\"1023\">legal origin<\/strong> of stocks<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1038\" data-end=\"1102\"><strong data-start=\"1040\" data-end=\"1065\">Physical verification<\/strong> of the quantity and storage location<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1104\" data-end=\"1166\">All cases will be considered <strong data-start=\"1133\" data-end=\"1146\">on merits<\/strong> and are subject to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"1170\" data-end=\"1210\">Compliance with <strong data-start=\"1186\" data-end=\"1208\">CITES requirements<\/strong><\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1213\" data-end=\"1307\"><strong data-start=\"1213\" data-end=\"1237\">Annual export quotas<\/strong> fixed by MoEF&amp;CC, based on <strong data-start=\"1265\" data-end=\"1305\">Non-Detriment Findings (NDF) studies<\/strong><\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1310\" data-end=\"1348\">Other prescribed regulatory conditions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 data-start=\"1962\" data-end=\"2016\">3. Digital Monitoring and Sustainability Controls<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2018\" data-end=\"2060\">State Governments have been instructed to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"2064\" data-end=\"2133\">Create <strong data-start=\"2071\" data-end=\"2092\">digital platforms<\/strong> with <strong data-start=\"2098\" data-end=\"2133\">geo-referenced plantation sites<\/strong><\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2136\" data-end=\"2223\">Develop <strong data-start=\"2144\" data-end=\"2184\">Management Information Systems (MIS)<\/strong> to track stock movement and monitoring<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2226\" data-end=\"2350\">Prepare <strong data-start=\"2234\" data-end=\"2266\">Management and Harvest Plans<\/strong> within working plan guidelines to ensure <strong data-start=\"2308\" data-end=\"2350\">sustainable and responsible harvesting<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 data-start=\"2357\" data-end=\"2377\">4.
