Background<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"189\" data-end=\"445\">The Ministry of Finance has issued a notification imposing <strong data-start=\"248\" data-end=\"304\">anti-dumping duty on imports of Flax or Linen Fabric<\/strong> containing <strong data-start=\"316\" data-end=\"338\">more than 50% flax<\/strong> (classified under <strong data-start=\"357\" data-end=\"380\">tariff heading 5309<\/strong>) originating in or exported from <strong data-start=\"414\" data-end=\"426\">China PR<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"431\" data-end=\"444\">Hong Kong<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"447\" data-end=\"538\">This move follows the <strong data-start=\"469\" data-end=\"515\">final findings of the designated authority<\/strong>, which concluded that:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"541\" data-end=\"586\">Dumping of the subject goods continued, and<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"589\" data-end=\"654\">Such dumping caused <strong data-start=\"609\" data-end=\"628\">material injury<\/strong> to the domestic industry.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 data-start=\"661\" data-end=\"705\">2. Supersession of Earlier Notification<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"706\" data-end=\"888\">The new duty <strong data-start=\"719\" data-end=\"731\">replaces<\/strong> the levy imposed through <strong data-start=\"757\" data-end=\"817\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.centaxonline.com\/search?searchData=Notification%20No.%2035%2F2020-Customs%20(ADD)&amp;itemType=AP\">Notification No. 35\/2020-Customs (ADD)<\/a>, dated 10-11-2020<\/strong>, thereby extending the protection available to domestic manufacturers.<\/p>\n<div class=\"_tableContainer_1rjym_1\">\n<div class=\"group _tableWrapper_1rjym_13 flex w-fit flex-col-reverse\" tabindex=\"-1\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2 data-start=\"1184\" data-end=\"1208\">3. Duration of Duty<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"1211\" data-end=\"1330\">The anti-dumping duty will remain <strong data-start=\"1245\" data-end=\"1272\">in force for five years<\/strong> from the date of publication in the <strong data-start=\"1309\" data-end=\"1329\">Official Gazette<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1333\" data-end=\"1416\">It may be <strong data-start=\"1343\" data-end=\"1386\">revoked, superseded, or amended earlier<\/strong> by a subsequent notification.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Notification No. 31\/2025- Customs (ADD), Dated 07-11-2025 1.
