Scope of Information Sought<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"638\" data-end=\"739\">DGFT has requested detailed inputs on all categories of NTMs applicable to Indian exports, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"743\" data-end=\"780\"><strong data-start=\"743\" data-end=\"778\">Certifications and attestations<\/strong><\/li>\n<li data-start=\"783\" data-end=\"824\"><strong data-start=\"783\" data-end=\"822\">Testing and laboratory requirements<\/strong><\/li>\n<li data-start=\"827\" data-end=\"855\"><strong data-start=\"827\" data-end=\"853\">Inspections and audits<\/strong><\/li>\n<li data-start=\"858\" data-end=\"902\"><strong data-start=\"858\" data-end=\"900\">Labelling, packaging and marking norms<\/strong><\/li>\n<li data-start=\"905\" data-end=\"965\"><strong data-start=\"905\" data-end=\"963\">Health, safety, phytosanitary or technical regulations<\/strong><\/li>\n<li data-start=\"968\" data-end=\"1015\"><strong data-start=\"968\" data-end=\"1013\">Environmental or sustainability standards<\/strong><\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1018\" data-end=\"1090\">Any other <strong data-start=\"1028\" data-end=\"1090\">country-specific or product-specific compliance conditions<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1092\" data-end=\"1185\">This covers both <strong data-start=\"1109\" data-end=\"1122\">mandatory<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1127\" data-end=\"1140\">voluntary<\/strong> requirements imposed by importing countries.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1192\" data-end=\"1244\">3. Details to Be Provided by Export Stakeholders<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1245\" data-end=\"1409\">Exporters, <strong data-start=\"1256\" data-end=\"1292\">Export Promotion Councils (EPCs)<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1294\" data-end=\"1320\">Commodity Boards (CBs)<\/strong>, and <strong data-start=\"1326\" data-end=\"1357\">Industry Associations (IAs)<\/strong> must furnish the following for each identified NTM:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"1413\" data-end=\"1480\"><strong data-start=\"1413\" data-end=\"1438\">Nature of requirement<\/strong> (certification\/testing\/inspection\/etc.)<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1483\" data-end=\"1525\">Whether it is <strong data-start=\"1497\" data-end=\"1523\">mandatory or voluntary<\/strong><\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1528\" data-end=\"1559\"><strong data-start=\"1528\" data-end=\"1548\">Sectors\/products<\/strong> impacted<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1562\" data-end=\"1626\"><strong data-start=\"1562\" data-end=\"1570\">Cost<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1572\" data-end=\"1591\">validity period<\/strong>, and <strong data-start=\"1597\" data-end=\"1610\">frequency<\/strong> of compliance<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1629\" data-end=\"1677\"><strong data-start=\"1629\" data-end=\"1650\">Countries\/regions<\/strong> imposing the requirement<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1680\" data-end=\"1743\">Details of <strong data-start=\"1691\" data-end=\"1741\">recognised labs, agencies or certifying bodies<\/strong><\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1746\" data-end=\"1863\"><strong data-start=\"1746\" data-end=\"1760\">Challenges<\/strong> faced during compliance (e.g., high cost, delays, lack of testing infrastructure, restrictive norms)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1865\" data-end=\"1955\">This granular information will help DGFT assess high-impact NTMs and prioritise solutions.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1962\" data-end=\"2000\">4. Submission Timeline and Process<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"2003\" data-end=\"2082\">Inputs must be submitted <strong data-start=\"2028\" data-end=\"2045\">within 7 days<\/strong> from issuance of the Trade Notice.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2085\" data-end=\"2184\">Submissions must be made <strong data-start=\"2110\" data-end=\"2152\">only through the specified online form<\/strong>, as provided in the circular.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2187\" data-end=\"2288\">Export stakeholders are advised to ensure <strong data-start=\"2229\" data-end=\"2258\">accuracy and completeness<\/strong> of the submitted information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 data-start=\"2295\" data-end=\"2332\">5. Consequences of Non-Submission<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2333\" data-end=\"2402\">DGFT has cautioned that failure to furnish information may result in:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"2406\" data-end=\"2504\">The concerned <strong data-start=\"2420\" data-end=\"2468\">NTMs or certifications not being prioritised<\/strong> in the official NTM database, and<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2507\" data-end=\"2594\">Reduced likelihood of receiving <strong data-start=\"2539\" data-end=\"2557\">future support<\/strong> or <strong data-start=\"2561\" data-end=\"2585\">policy interventions<\/strong> under:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ol>\n<li data-start=\"2599\" data-end=\"2638\">The <strong data-start=\"2603\" data-end=\"2631\">Export Promotion Mission<\/strong>, and<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2643\" data-end=\"2697\">Other trade facilitation or market access initiatives.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p data-start=\"2699\" data-end=\"2803\">This makes timely submission critical for ensuring sector-specific issues receive appropriate attention.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"2810\" data-end=\"2829\">6.
