The Directorate General of Foreign Trade<\/span><\/span> (DGFT)<\/strong> has issued a public notice<\/strong> extending the timeline for filing the Annual RoDTEP Return<\/strong> for the Financial Year 2023\u201324<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

1. Extended Filing Deadline<\/h2>\n

  • The due date for filing the Annual RoDTEP Return has been further extended up to 31 March 2026<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  • The extension is subject to payment of a composition fee of \u20b915,000<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  • The extension applies with effect from the date of publication of the public notice<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    2. Compliance Requirement for Exporters<\/h2>\n

    Exporters availing benefits under the Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products (RoDTEP) Scheme<\/strong> are required to:<\/p>\n

    • File the Annual RoDTEP Return<\/strong> on the DGFT portal<\/li>\n
    • Ensure filing is completed on or before 31 March 2026<\/strong><\/li>\n
    • Pay the prescribed composition fee of \u20b915,000<\/strong> along with the return<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      3. Consequences of Non-Filing<\/h2>\n

      DGFT has clarified that if the Annual RoDTEP Return is not filed by 31 March 2026<\/strong>, action shall be taken in accordance with Para 4.94 of the Handbook of Procedures, 2023<\/strong>, which may include:<\/p>\n
