Status of Export Policy<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul data-start=\"271\" data-end=\"388\">\n<li data-section-id=\"1s53zip\" data-start=\"271\" data-end=\"349\">Export of wheat under:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ol>\n<li>HS Code 10011900<\/li>\n<li>HS Code 10019910<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul data-start=\"271\" data-end=\"388\">\n<li data-section-id=\"100ktf2\" data-start=\"350\" data-end=\"388\">Continues to remain <strong data-start=\"372\" data-end=\"388\">\u2018Prohibited\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"wrs1jm\" data-start=\"395\" data-end=\"432\"><span role=\"text\">2. Limited Relaxation for Export<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul data-start=\"433\" data-end=\"622\">\n<li data-section-id=\"19peei4\" data-start=\"433\" data-end=\"531\">The notification permits export of an additional <strong data-start=\"489\" data-end=\"520\">25 Lakh Metric Tonnes (LMT)<\/strong> of wheat<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"16ug98l\" data-start=\"532\" data-end=\"622\">Subject to <strong data-start=\"550\" data-end=\"591\">modalities to be specified separately<\/strong> through a DGFT Public Notice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"ed8akl\" data-start=\"629\" data-end=\"672\"><span role=\"text\">3. Continuation of Existing Conditions<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul data-start=\"673\" data-end=\"812\">\n<li data-section-id=\"i8ooi9\" data-start=\"673\" data-end=\"768\">The existing policy condition under <strong data-start=\"716\" data-end=\"766\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.centaxonline.com\/search?searchData=Notification%20No.%2006%2F2015-2020&amp;itemType=AP\">Notification No. 06\/2015-2020<\/a> dated 13-05-2022<\/strong><\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1y6nbg2\" data-start=\"769\" data-end=\"812\">Will continue to <strong data-start=\"788\" data-end=\"812\">apply without change<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"1pz930q\" data-start=\"819\" data-end=\"859\"><span role=\"text\">4. Government-to-Government Exports<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul data-start=\"860\" data-end=\"1143\">\n<li data-section-id=\"7bfkh2\" data-start=\"860\" data-end=\"1070\">Export of wheat may also be allowed:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ol>\n<li>Based on <strong data-start=\"912\" data-end=\"962\">specific permission by the Government of India<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>To meet <strong data-start=\"977\" data-end=\"1019\">food security needs of other countries<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Upon <strong data-start=\"1031\" data-end=\"1068\">requests from foreign governments<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul data-start=\"860\" data-end=\"1143\">\n<li data-section-id=\"19x29lr\" data-start=\"1072\" data-end=\"1143\">Such exports are <strong data-start=\"1096\" data-end=\"1114\">over and above<\/strong> the permitted 25 LMT limit<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"njwkbs\" data-start=\"1150\" data-end=\"1184\"><span role=\"text\">5. Objective of the Amendment<\/span><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1185\" data-end=\"1205\">The policy seeks to:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1206\" data-end=\"1372\">\n<li data-section-id=\"71wi23\" data-start=\"1206\" data-end=\"1245\">Maintain <strong data-start=\"1217\" data-end=\"1243\">domestic food security<\/strong><\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1gszu1q\" data-start=\"1246\" data-end=\"1305\">Allow controlled exports under <strong data-start=\"1279\" data-end=\"1303\">government oversight<\/strong><\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1857c5\" data-start=\"1306\" data-end=\"1372\">Support <strong data-start=\"1316\" data-end=\"1372\">global food requirements through diplomatic channels<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"1u957ut\" data-start=\"1379\" data-end=\"1397\"><span role=\"text\">6. Conclusion<\/span><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1398\" data-end=\"1586\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">The amendment retains the <strong data-start=\"1424\" data-end=\"1462\">prohibited status of wheat exports<\/strong> while allowing <strong data-start=\"1478\" data-end=\"1514\">limited and regulated relaxation<\/strong>, balancing <strong data-start=\"1526\"
