Notification No. 43\/2026-Customs (N.T.)<\/a>, Dated 06-05-2026<\/p>\n

The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has amended Notification No. 63\/1994-Customs (N.T.) dated 21-11-1994<\/strong>, issued under Section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

1. New Land Customs Station Introduced<\/span><\/h2>\n
    \n
  • \u2018Samrang\u2019<\/strong> has been notified as a Land Customs Station (LCS)<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Under the Bhutan land frontier<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    2. Specified Trade Route<\/span><\/h2>\n

    The notification specifies the Rangia \u2013 Tamulpur \u2013 Dimakuchi motorable route<\/strong><\/p>\n

    This route will facilitate movement of goods between Samrang (India)<\/strong> and Samrang (Bhutan)<\/strong><\/p>\n

    3. Objective of the Amendment<\/span><\/h2>\n

    The notification aims to:<\/p>\n

    • Enhance cross-border trade infrastructure<\/li>\n
