The Government has extended the due date for filing appeals before the Goods and Services Tax Appellate Tribunal (GSTAT)<\/strong> in certain cases. The earlier due date of 30-06-2026<\/strong> has now been extended to 31-07-2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The extension has been granted in view of technical difficulties reported by taxpayers due to heavy traffic and rush in filing appeals on the GSTAT portal.<\/p>\n

1. Extension Under Section 112<\/h2>\n

The extension applies to appeals required to be filed before the GSTAT under Section 112(1) read with Section 112(3)<\/strong> of the GST law.<\/p>\n

Taxpayers covered under these provisions may now file their appeals within the extended timeline.<\/p>\n

2. Revised Due Date<\/h2>\n

The due date for filing eligible appeals before the GSTAT has been extended as follows:<\/p>\n
