The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has issued a public notice announcing the fixation of a new Standard Input Output Norm (SION) under the ‘Chemical and Allied Product’ group.
1. Details of the Newly Notified SION

- Export Product – Sodium Citrate
- Input Allowed – Citric Acid Monohydrate
As per the new SION, for the export of 1 kg of Sodium Citrate, an input quantity of 0.740 kg of Citric Acid Monohydrate is permitted for import duty exemption under the Advance Authorisation Scheme.
